Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, activating, or using Mmodemmo School Management System (the "Application"), you confirm that you are authorized to do so on behalf of your school and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application.

• What is licensed — a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Application on computers belonging to the licensed school, for that school's own record-keeping and reporting.
• One-time purchase — the license is sold as a one-time purchase per school, with no recurring subscription fee and no built-in expiry, as described on the pricing page.
• Ownership — the Application, its source code, design, and branding remain the property of its developer. Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of the software itself, only the right to use it as described here.
• Lost, stolen, or replaced computer — the license is bound to the licensed computer. If that computer is lost, stolen, or destroyed, the school is entitled to one free reissue of the license to a replacement computer; a further reissue request against the same license will require purchase of a new license. You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the installer or a license outside the licensed school without prior written permission;
• use the Application, the online portal, or the Google account connection to store or process data unrelated to the school's own administrative and academic records;
• attempt to bypass the PIN-based access controls used for teacher accounts on the online portal, or access records outside your assigned classes and duties; or
• use the Application in a way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.

Student names, marks, attendance, levy, and other academic records entered into the Application belong to the school that entered them. The school and its administrators are responsible for the accuracy of that data, for controlling which teachers have portal access, and for complying with any school-level or legal obligations concerning student information. Current pricing and what is included in a purchase are described on the Features & pricing page. Refund requests are evaluated individually and are not automatic. To request one, contact cosmopolitech.dev@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase, including your order/purchase details and the reason for the request. Refunds are generally granted for issues such as duplicate charges, failure to deliver the purchased product, or a verified technical defect preventing use of the application. Refunds are not granted for change-of-mind, incompatibility with a use case not disclosed at purchase, or requests made after the eligibility window. A decision will be communicated by email; approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.

Where a school administrator connects a Google account, that connection is subject to Google's own terms of service in addition to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The developer is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of Google's services, and a school may revoke the Application's Google account access at any time through its Google Account settings.

Support requests can be sent to cosmopolitech.dev@gmail.com. Updates to the Application may be released from time to time; installing an update is optional unless stated otherwise for a specific fix. The online portal depends on the continued availability of third-party infrastructure, including Google's services, and the developer does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of either the desktop application or the online portal.

A license may be terminated if these Terms are materially breached, including unauthorized redistribution of the Application. A school may stop using the Application at any time. Termination does not automatically delete records already synced to the school's own Google Sheet or Drive backup, since those remain under the school's own Google account.

These Terms may be updated as the Application, its licensing model, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the Terms are revised, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
